Tourism village Tramin
The home of the Gewürztraminer
The village of Tramin is nestled in a wonderful landscape, among fruit trees and vines, at 276 m above sea level, and directly on the South Tyrolean Wine Road, south of Lake Caldaro. Known above all for its Gewürztraminer, the wine of which our village is the patron saint, Tramin has much more to offer our holidaymakers!
Tramin captivates by its originality, its customs and the warmth of its inhabitants. We must emphasize the constant good weather, the variety of sports that can be practiced in and around Tramin, the rich offer of culinary delicacies and the many great events.
The Gewürztraminer grape
The Gewürztraminer - Tramin's most famous export, the grape has a very special, unmistakable colour and the wine is an explosion of taste!
Great events from spring to late autumn provide entertainment. You will get to know our culture and our people!
Tramin is a very good starting point for various excursions.
How about a tour of the Dolomites? Via Bolzano into the Val Gardena, further on to Cortina, then to the Three Peaks and back?
Or an excursion to Lake Garda? Small towns, narrow alleys, idyllic harbours, the Scaligeri castles of Malcesine or Sirmione, a boat crossing or just a stroll along the lake shore?Venice, the unique lagoon city or Verona, maybe to the opera?
A Traminer bus company offers such and other excursions, inexpensive and well organized.
